Jennifer Mulligan lives in Gatineau (Hull Sector), is of Irish/French Canadian descent, and originally from a small town in the Pontiac (a county in Western Quebec). In January 2005, she began writing poetry (again) and by the end of the year had also started working on her first feature length screenplay – tentatively called "Malachi’s Wake".  Her poetry has been published in above/ground press broadsheets, www.bywords.ca, www.ottawater.com, in YAWP, and on her blog – www.myspace.com/scorpiomoongirl. Her first chapbook, "…like nailing jello to a tree…", was published in January 2007 and available from above/ground press. She is currently working on a series of poems about the alchemical process and a short screenplay about a French Canadian mythological creature that hunts people in the woods.

Una McDonnell has performed her work at readings and music festivals, on top of café tables, and on one occasion in a boxing ring. She attended the 2002 Banff Wired Writing Studio and the 2003 Sage Hill Poetry Colloquium. She has published work in Arc, Prairie Fire, and the anthologies Written in the Skin: a poetic response to aids (Toronto ON: Insomniac Press, 1998), Musings: An Anthology of Greek-Canadian Literature (Montreal QC: Vehicule Press, 2005) and Decalogue: ten Ottawa poets (Ottawa ON: Chaudiere Books, 2006).
