Exhibition Proposal Submission Guidelines for Artists and Curators

Guidelines for Artists and Curators

It is the mandate of the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) to advance knowledge and understanding of contemporary visual arts within the community through exhibitions, acquisitions, lectures and symposia, public programs, bilingual publications, traveling exhibitions, and adherence to standard museum practices. OAG seeks to present and mediate the widest possible range of contemporary art practices and to reflect excellence and cultural diversity through all aspects of its programs.

OAG accepts exhibition proposal on an ongoing basis, which are reviewed twice annually, at the beginning of November and May. Exhibitions are booked two years in advance.
